Musician & Artist Residency, Valle de Bravo

Quiet weeks in the studio for musicians, writers and visual artists, at La Fuente, our adobe homestead above Valle de Bravo. There’s a live room with a recording rig and a wall of instruments gathered over twenty years, a room of your own, and three meals a day you don’t have to think about.

There’s no curator and no showcase. You keep your own hours. When the work stalls, the steam dome, the cold plunge, the garden and the hammock are there, and Luke, a musician himself, is around if you want another pair of ears.

It suits musicians tracking an EP, songwriters, writers with a draft, composers and visual artists between commissions, producers, and anyone whose practice has gone quiet. An optional closing session at the end of your stay looks at what comes next.

Two weeks are $2,500; ask us when you inquire. We host one or two artists at a time.

Valle de Bravo is a lake town about two and a half hours by road from Mexico City. We can arrange a private car from the airport or your hotel.
